Our Story
It all started in March 2024 at Buena Vida Gastrolounge. The name translates to "The Good Life," and looking back, it was the perfect prediction for our future. That first night, we felt an instant comfort; we talked until the restaurant closed and then sat in the car listening to music for hours just to keep the night going. We realized quickly that we weren't just a romantic match, but a team that could accomplish anything.
Since then, we've built a life filled with activity and laughter—from cheering at volleyball tournaments and exploring wineries to hanging out at home with our cat, Draco. In August 2025, during a trip to Peru with family, Al proposed to Meli at Machu Picchu. We have made hundreds of decisions together since that first date, and we can't wait to make the most important one yet: saying "I do."
